   Just wondering how these hold up. I want to get them for my 75 year old grandfather who has had knee replacements in both legs. He is always wearing knock off crocs and I feel this would be better as long as it fit snuggly with his socks so he did not slip around. Anyone with experience?

  I don’t have these, but I do run long distance in Hoka and they are good shoes, I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase these. I will say I went from Newton’s to Hoka which are largely different so a bit to get used too with the extra cushioning – assuming the recovery shoes are similar in cushion to their running shoes. Not sure if that helps at all. 🙂

   I would not get them for an older person. My son is a runner and runs in hokas and he wears these around his dorm and to classes. I tried them on and they were nothing like crocs. In Crocs your foot sits down in them, these have a high platform and I would think an older person could twist an ankle in them. I wouldn’t want to walk around in them but my son loves them.

   A friend of my recommended them to me. I now own a pair & love them. I have really good balance though. They are great recovery sandals for athletes.

   Thank you so much for posting this deal! My Orthopedic Dr recommended Hoka shoes for my Achilles Tendonitis & heal spurs and I’ve been checking daily for sales. This is perfect I hope they fit.
