I signed up for this last year and it is much appreciated. Target uses SheerID which is a digital verification service.

I applied and haven’t received my email. It wasn’t in my spam folder either

Darn! I’m so sorry you don’t have it yet. There is a “Contact Us” link at the bottom of the page linked above you might want to use to let them now you still haven’t received it. 🙂

I was able to combine this with the 25% off toy coupon and 5% red card savings and got $78 off a basketball hoop for my son for Xmas!

      What an awesome score!

10%, while better than nothing, is not much of an incentive to shop at Target

Worked for me to use this and the 25% off toy (got a power wheels) and still the 5% discount.
Paid $174 for a $309.99 Cmas gift! Thank you!

Does anyone know if this can be used on apple products? Our church is going to get our Pastor a gift for his birthday and we have several military personal. Thanks

    • Holly (Hip2Save Sidekick)

It looks like Apple products are excluded.

This is such a great thing to do! My husband is a Coast Guard vet. We used it today… Did get the email instantly, and saved us almost $7! 😊

Why so much info needed? Should be able to just show mil ID in store. Don’t want our private info floating around Target’s hackable systems 🙁

    • jess

Probably so people don’t try to take advantage and use it multiple times.

Thank you so much!! I take advantage of this every year!! Served 20 years and am grateful for these small perks

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

You’re very welcome! Thank you for your service! My dad served for 15 years and he grabs this discount each year too!

Rather than provide personal data info to a third-party couldn’t Target just take military ID at checkout, and recognize Military customers every day with a discount as do Lowes, grocers, etc..

  12. Lori

Thank you. My husband is a Marine Corp vet of 12 years and we always appreciate things like this.

Has anyone tried this with the in ad coupon for $25 gift card when you spend $100 on apparel? It says that it cannot be combined with any other Category coupon. I don’t know what that means, but it looks like others were able to use it with 25% off toys.
