Possible $5-$5,000 Mystery Reward for My Best Buy Members (Check Your Inbox)
If you are a My Best Buy member, be sure to check your inbox for a possible email with a “Mystery Rewards” certificate, valued anywhere from $5 to $5,000!
Note that this email will be titled “What’s yours worth?” and will come from email address MyBestBuyInfo@emailinfo.bestbuy.com.
In order to redeem, print your certificate and head into your local Best Buy store by 11/16. Then simply ask a store associate to scan it and reveal the value. If your certificate is valued at $5 to $500, you may redeem it immediately at participating Best Buy stores.
If your certificate is valued at 250,000 My Best Buy Points (=$5,000 in My Best Buy certificates), you will need to call the toll-free number indicated on your receipt by 11/23.
Redeem your certificate in a single transaction with a total purchase price equal to or greater than the value of the certificate.
What would you get at Best Buy if you won the $5,000?
(Thanks, N and Kristen!)
I had to pull it out of my trash folder. Thank you! How can you tell how much it is worth?
You’re so welcome! I believe you have to redeem it to find out how much it’s worth.
My husband just got one of these certificates. If anyone has one that they are willing to give I’d love to have it. Diddyman03@ Hotmail.com
Anyone know what the values are based on the identification on the certificate?
Check Slickdeals, it’s five if it ends 587 7, the last seven will be on the opposite of the barcode.
Thanks!
Last year it seemed like there was a way of inputting one of the numbers in on an online order and it would tell you how much the certificate was for. Anyone remember how that worked?
Got one sweet! I would’ve only known about it from your site so thank you!
You’re very welcome!
5877 = $5
How did you find this out?
Anyone know how to check online?
If the barcode #1 ends in 587 with another 7 to the right of it, it’s worth $5.
Mine ends with 5877 but I don’t know how to check it so I assume it’s $5? How did you find out?
I did not get one 😩
🙁 i didn’t get one
I did not get one, but my husband did. He rarely uses his account, whereas I just placed an order last week on mine. Maybe they are sending these out to accounts that haven’t had much activity in awhile to get people back in the store.
I ordered recently on my account and still got one
So does it mean that everybody that received $5 has the same number on the number 1 barcode? My husband and I received it we have to the same barcode number under number 1 but different certificate numbers.
My email gave me the option to check the value I just clicked the button to see the amount.
Oh Wow, Brandie! Thanks for letting us know!
I had that too but it didn’t do anything when I clicked it
Maybe they will arrive in batches? Feeling hopeful 🙂
And my printer is broken, planning a new one black Friday (well Weds when Targets printer goes live for RedCard hopefully!)
I got one, but it said you had to take it to the store and scan it there. Ends in the 587 though, so I’m assuming based on the other comments it’s only $5. Thanks for posting, I wouldn’t have noticed the e-mail! 😊
Thanks so much! I wouldn’t have checked my mail (don’t use that email address often) without your post. Seems mine is $5 but I’m going there tonight for an online order pick up so I may as well use it on something I’m buying anyway 🙂 thanks again!
You’re welcome! Glad you could snag an offer!
I’m bummed I didn’t get one! ☹️ Anyone get one they be won’t be using? 🤓 I’d be super grateful! 😊My email address is geizette@yahoo.com.
So something weird is going on. If I google best buy mystery certificate and click on the link that takes you to the app it says that mine is the 250,000 points and to call a number but when we showed them at store it was only 5 dollars. I’m assuming this is a glitch or something?
i am a best buy elite member but i didn’t get the email
Is there a way to use this online instead of going into the store? The store does not have the things I typically purchase from there. Thank you
I just received this in my inbox today! Yay, $5 is $5 saved! =)
