   My local Ace hardware has BOGO 4 packs for 7.99. I got 16 light bulbs for $15.98.

   If you’re a ComEd customer you can get all your incandescent bulbs replaced for free to LEDs through their Energy Efficiency program which you pay a monthly fee for no matter what as part of your bill. It’s only about $1 or less depending on the size of your house. We had them come out in December and they replaced 69 bulbs in our home. They will not replace the squiggly bulbs(as they are efficient enough) so a word to the wise is replace them with an incandescent bulb that they before they come!

   If you’re a ComEd number they offer an Energy Efficiency program which is state-funded and you pay for on your monthly bill. They will come out to your home and replace every incandescent bulb in the house and exterior of the home but not garage with an LED light bulb. We had 69 incandescent bulbs replaced in our home totally free. Just a word to the wise though they will not replace the squiggly bulbs (drawing a blank on their name). The blessed is probably about three months out but if you go on their cancellation list I was called within 1 week totally worth it to not spend any money on light bulbs
