   I would love a recommendation on what to get. I was using TurboTax online but it’s telling me I need to spend $80 to upgrade to get child and dependent care credit. Any recommendations of which program to use?

  We used to use TurboTax and stopped because it got so expensive. We like Credit Karma. Completely free and you can efile for free too. Includes state. I don’t think it would be good if you have anything complicated but my family takes standard deduction, we get the child care credit and mortgage, 401K, the usual stuff.

   So is this like a code or download? Or something they actually mail you? I normally use H&R Block online but this is a much better price than what we are charged. . . .

  Hi there! It appears to be both! Here is what I found listed in the Q&A –

  “Question: Is the software in the form of a disc or a thumb-drive?
  Answer: I received the CD Disc but you can directly download with a code given to you on purchase.”
