That was my first thought too!
It’s not as hard as you think. But it can be a challenge if it’s in a corner. We have one in my daughter’s room and son’s room. My daughter’s is in the corner and I need a step stool, but my son’s is positioned in the middle of a wall and it’s super simple to do.
We love them! We left the slats off the bottom bunk and the kids have a lounge/play area that helps maximize space in their rooms. The roof makes it super cozy too!
