I have 2 of these in white in two different bedrooms of my house—they put out a nice wind and are very quiet. I would absolutely buy them again.
Thanks for sharing, Aimee! That does sound nice! Glad you have been enjoying yours!
It may have just been my bad luck, but we had one of these up almost a year and suddenly it kept tripping our circuit breaker and almost started a fire… It actually scorched our celling. We may have just gotten a faulty unit but it was scary, so wanted to share.
Yikes!!! I installed both of mine along with the rest of the fans—it’s been about 18 months and haven’t had any problems, yet. That’s scary!!
Oh no! SO sorry to hear about that, Ashley! Thanks for letting us know about your experience!
If that had happened to me, or if I was considering purchasing this fan, I would do a search for this particular model and check to see if this had happened to others. We once had a Cuisinart coffee pot that caught on fire. I did a search and discovered that many owners of this particular model experienced fire damage. My experience was not a fluke. It was a serious design flaw.
We have three of these we bought last year and they run great. They look really nice also.
My husband and I purchased 4 of these last year. The light and “wind” output are great, they were easy to install and look great but I have two small complaints about them.
Two of my fans have this obnoxious ticking sound as the blades rotate, especially on high. The other complaint is that we bought these fans and then later decided that we needed all new light fixtures in the house to match these fans. I hunted for months for new light fixtures that would match and finally settled on a decent option.
