I have extremely thick, curly hair. Normally to straighten my hair, it would take me about an hour, then I would have to work it with a curling iron. With the Dyson, I’m down to about 20 minutes, and I don’t have to use my curling iron at all, unless I want to actually curl my hair.

I have thick and wavy hair and my hair would take around 40 minutes to dry. I can now dry it in about 15 minutes. I love it. It is light weight and powerful. I know it is expensive and I probably would of never purchased for my self but my FIL bought me a refurbished one last year for Christmas. I would repurchase if it ever died.

Hi, gary! This dryer was introduced in September 2016, so it’s been around almost 3 years. It may seem new as it was more heavily advertised last year. Sometimes refurbished items are just returned by the buyer because they don’t like it. It may have only been used a few times and sometimes it’s only an open box.
