Zombie Skittles Will Be Traumatizing Trick-or-Treaters Everywhere This Halloween
Skittles… taste the rotten rainbow in October! 😱
When Zombie Skittles start hitting shelves this October, they’ll include five fruity flavors plus one new flavor that’s just all kinds of wrong.
All renamed for Halloween, the familiar flavors will include Petrifying Citrus Punch, Mummified Melon, Boogeyman Blackberry, Chilling Black Cherry, and Blood Red Berry. Additionally, scattered throughout each pack of candy, will be Skittles that taste like Rotten Zombie.
While it’s unclear exactly what “Rotten Zombie” tastes like, the brand assures us that it will be “utterly disgusting.” To complicate matters, this repulsive flavor will be hidden underneath one of the cheerfully colored shells we’ve come to trust as part of the non-rotten Skittles rainbow.
Unsuspecting candy eaters won’t know they’ve put a Rotten Zombie skittle in their mouth until they start chewing, so this could make for a fun (and gross) food challenge among daring eaters.
If you’re up for testing your gag reflex or you just want to give trick-or-treaters a disgusting scare, you can look for Zombie Skittles to arrive in stores this October.
Have you seen the new products that are going to be HOT for Halloween 2019?
I saw these yesterday! And of all places, I saw them in Michael’s craft store. I wondered what they were.
Do they come in treat size bags?
My family will be excited to try these! They always loved trying the weird, gross jelly belly’s that came out. Lol.
LOL! That sounds like my family! Hoping these are just as fun to try as the gross Jelly Belly’s!
This reminds me of Jelly Belly’s Beanboozled which includes flavors like stinky socks, barf, rotten eggs, grass clippings, moldy cheese and a few others. After trying the rotten eggs and barf then having to spit them out, I questioned my sanity for buying candy flavored like stuff you’re supposed to stay away from. I thought it would be fun, but my kids wouldn’t try them.
I bought Beanboozled for my daughter not realizing that she would force me to play (only child) – BIG mistake LOL, but she had a blast! Thanks for the comment, Ni!
We found these at Sheetz last weekend. My kids had fun eating them and finding the rotten zombie ones. It is pretty gross when you get one but thankfully there aren’t that many in a bag.
I would have totally loved these as a kid! Thanks for commenting, Kimberly!
Marketing genius, IMO
Yuck! My kids would totally love them!
This is just evil!
Okay….I am seeing an April Fools trick with some of these bad flavors…..!
LMAO! Yes!!!! Place a snack bowl of skittles with the bad flavors mixed in and leave it in the break room at work for co-workers to enjoy 😉
My daughter found these a few weeks ago and when you get the zombie… you will know! It is “utterly disgusting!” It is fun to take turns going around till someone gets a zombie one, because they look just like the regular flavor ones!
Oh no! LOL! I’ll have to grab these for my kids. They would enjoy trying them!
