Candy Hearts Grapes Available at Costco for Limited Time
First we fell in love with these Cotton Candy Grapes, and now we spotted these new Candy Hearts Red Grapes at Costco! And yes, according to the package, these grapes really do taste like candy hearts – YUM!
These plump grapes are available in 3-pound containers and are priced around $7.99 (pricing may vary by location). If you spot them, be sure to grab a container (or two) as this limited time treat will likely sell out fast.
Next time the kiddos are craving candy, just hand them a bowl of seedless Candy Heart grapes instead!
Has anyone seen these anywhere else? I’d love to try them. We don’t have a Costco!
I got some today at Sam’s club
I’ve seen this at ACME grocery store.
I saw these at my costco and I was planning to get them (not knowing they’re the famous cotton candy grapes) but on the packaging it said that they use pesticide and other harmful chemicals in big writing (not even trying to hide it in the small print) so I figured if they’re labeling it upfront and large then it must be terrible for you. They don’t want to hold themselves liable.
Stop playing with our foods. They modify anything these days.
It’s common practice to use high amounts of pesticide on produce that is eaten as-in, i.e. produce that doesn’t need peeling, because few are OK with buying food disfigured with insect holes. The highest amount of pesticide are usually found on strawberries and spinach, followed by nectarines, apples, grapes, peaches, cherries, pears… Grapes usually rank on EWG’s “Dirty Dozen” list of pesticides in produce.
Pesticide use is still allowed in “organic” produce as well, the difference is in the limited Certified Organic pesticides approved by the USDA. The Candy Hearts Grapes are printing the information that’s already common knowledge, so it isn’t even a matter of waiving liability, but more likely encouraging buyers to wash their fruit instead of eating it straight from the carton.
I got some today at Sam’s club
We got them and were quite disappointed. We’ve had the cotton candy grapes before and these tasted like regular grapes. They were good, but just regular ole grapes. We compared them to the regular grapes that we had just bought. Asking people at a family gathering to try both, not telling them that there was anything special about either one. They couldn’t tell the difference between the two!
Are theses also called gum drop grapes? I’ve found those at Kroger.
No these are different. Moondrop grapes are shaped like long drops. These grapes are flavored like candy.
These aren’t long. They looked just like these. They don’t taste like them either.
They have them at Hy-Vee. They were handing out samples recently.
Just got the Candy Heart ones at Aldi! So yummy!
