How does this work for homeschoolers? Thanks for all your help!
Hi there! I did speak with customer service. They let me know that you would need to call in to be sure you are all set up to shop the store as a Home School teacher. 1-800-497-8291 Hope that helps!
Homeschoolers can absolutely get this deal. You also should sign up for the Scholastic Book Club. I have been ordering for several years. You can order books for as little as $1 and you earn points towards free books or other things. Everytime I have ordered I have gotten a dozen books or more free. Sign up for the book club account online and then call in to verify. It is very easy and they are super nice.
I wish I could buy this to have at home 😢
Cg, You can always talk to a teacher that lives near you and see if they are willing to get this for you. Pretty sure they will be more than happy to!
I will order for you if you want. You can email me pinkchick82686 at g mail
I’ve ordered these before and it’s a nice selection. Some of their $1 books, but also other more expensive ones.
Oh cool! Thanks for the feedback, Amy! Glad you have been pleased with this sale in the past!
Does anyone know if Scholastic Dollars can be used to get this deal? Thanks!
Here is what I found on what your scholastic dollars can be used on –
“Scholastic Dollars is the most rewarding way to get the most Scholastic Book Fair product for your school. Scholastic Dollars increase your purchasing power and can be used at any of the following venues:
Your Scholastic Book Fair – Take books directly from your Fair!
Customer Appreciation Warehouse Sales Events – Attend these events get great deals!
Scholastic Dollars Catalog – Shop the print catalog or shop online
Regional Scholastic Dollars booklists-Available from your Book Fair consultant.
Hope that helps!
I doubt it. I run book fairs and give teachers scholastic dollars as incentive. They’ve asked if they could use them for the book clubs and I am always told by scholastic no. Scholastic dollars can only be used from scholastic dollars catalog and warehouse sales. Just my experience though, might want to double check.
Has anyone ordered the older bundles (5-6 grade)? Wondering about the quality of the selection.
It’s Scholastic …………I’d think it would be a very good selection of books.
I’ve ordered these before. You get great books just know that you will get multiples.
Thanks so much, Kim!
Thanks for letting us know, I thought it was 50 all different!
I think it’s different for everyone… I’ve heard that no two orders are the same, and the biggest complaint is that a lot of the books are seasonal ones.
Our PTO buys books for reading minute program prizes so this is always a great way to stock up!! The only thing better would be if we could use scholastic dollars for them!
Thank you so much! I teach second grade and asked for people to sponsor my students all year to receive a free book each month ($1 per month for 8 months=$8 per student). Each of my kiddos were sponsored, but I was getting concerned about the wide variety of reading levels needed for my students. This pack helped me buy lower level books for my kiddos that need them and used the donated money frugally. At only 9 cents extra per book due to taxes and shipping, I can handle the extra amount. Thank you so very much for putting high quality books into the hands of my students who can’t afford them and need them the most!!!!
Yay! That’s great to hear! You are SO very welcome! ❤️
Check out the Salvation Army Thrift Store if you have any near you. I got approved kinds of Caldecott, diverse books and readers for only $.10 each.
My shipping is saying $27.41. Is there a code to get the $4.50 shipping? Thanks!
Hey Tiffany! I’m still seeing shipping at $4.50 – are you outside of the US or in Alaska or Hawaii? Sometimes that can make shipping prices increase. Also, make sure you have the slowest shipping option checked!
