    Thanks! 😊

    • Trish (Hip Sidekick)

      You’re welcome, Cathy! 💖

  2. Jill

I’m curious how people are getting this deal to work? When I follow steps in the post, it tells me that I need a minimum $10 order to do pickup.

    • Jill

OMG, classic case of me not reading the post in full before attempting this. I’ll either add more to my order to get to $10 or will just go shop in store. Thank you for outlining this in the post to begin with.

    • Trish (Hip Sidekick)

So sorry for the confusion, Jill! 🤗 If ordering online for store pickup, you will need a minimum order of $10 after coupons and promotion, You might consider adding some other items to your order to get to that threshold. We have some other deal ideas here if helpful! ❤️

  3. Theresa

Thanks for deal. Every time I go to Walgreens recently have to argue for one coupon that is for in store and not working. Why does it show on the app for in store for both and only one work. Today bought the 2 Reese’s and only manufacturer coupon came off. Usually they make me call 1800 number but today after showing them the Wags coupon they gave me the money off. Uugh! So frustrating. Never shop here if want to be in and out quickly. I had 4-5 people in line behind me by the time it was fixed.

    • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

You’re welcome, Theresa. 💕 Very sorry to hear about the troubles with the coupons during checkout. I typically order online with in-store pick-up so I see all the applied savings beforehand. Glad to hear that they were helpful in-store, instead of having you make a phone call!

    • Hipgrandma

This is the same experience I have at my Walgreens as well. It’s become too frustrating to shop there. About the only deal I do anymore is the free photo stuff

  4. Mom22Boyz

Is it just me or is the Walgreen app buggy? I spent a long time adding items to my cart ti but free shipping, only at checkout for it to error and auto-remove items stating “due to limitations items were removed…” (but never indicated anywhere there was a limit AND I only had 2?) OR when I attempt to do in-store pick up, the app will get to Step 21 of the checkout process (substitutions), then return to Step 1 (proceed to checkout). No matter how many times I click the button, just sits there. I’ve relaunched the app a few times. Dang. Not worth the $$ to continue with this painful awful app. Oh and I did try calling customer service—that was auto-response hell.

    • Sarah

It seems like the app is buggy. I added the coupons but they didn’t show up in my account when I purchased the items in the store either.

    • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

SO sorry for the issues with the app. You might check for an update with the app. I will say that I sometimes find their desktop site easier to use at times. Hoping you can snag all the deals this way! 🤞💞

  5. Hipgrandma

Isn’t the share size different from the bags shown? Maybe that’s why the Wags coupon isn’t working

    • Erin

No, the post is wrong. Not all the candy posted here is eligible for both coupons.

      • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks, Erin! Sorry for any confusion. It does seem that selected varieties don’t qualify for both. I’ll add a note above. ❤️❤️

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Hi there! It seems some options through that link are eligible for both coupons and selected others are not. I still find both coupons listed on the product pages for those they qualify for. Hoping that helps! ❤️🤞

      • Erin

Right. The links are correct but the post as written is still wrong. The coupons stack for Rolo and Mini Snowballs but not for York. York is eligible for only the monthly savings book coupon.

        • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks for pointing that out, Erin! 🙌🤗

  6. Amy

I ordered for shipping and my entire order was canceled. This is happening to many people.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Oh no! SO sorry to hear that, Amy. 😔 Thanks for the update on your order.

Amy this may or not help you and others. When you place your order the first screen has a tiny box that is prechecked. It asks you if you want to receive items from your local store for faster service. Sounds good since it implies that other items will still come from a warehouse. Nope whatever your local store doesn’t have is just canceled. Make SURE that box is UNCHECKED. Walgreens closed a warehouse in Illinois and at least in my area all items are shipped from stores. Once I figured that out my fill ratio improved dramatically. It used to be 100% so it is definitely a downturn. My best to you.

      • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Thank you so much for that tip! 💞

  7. Lucila Garza

You can only purchase the Grinch kisses to get the 2 coupons off. I tried to get the Grinch and Santa hats and I could not get the $2 off coupon instore or app.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks, Lucila! Good to know how it worked for you! 💞🙌

  8. Me

I spent lots of time putting together an order for what I wanted. I got as far as applying $20 of walgreens cash, and then I received an error saying some of the deals did not allow me to use walgreens gift cards. I had no gift cards used on my order, and was just buying vitamins, the candy, and cereal.

I even called customer service to place my order, and then tge rep said that it was taking the vitamins and cereal off my order so all they had in stock was the candy. Very frustrated.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Oh no! That sure does sound frustrating. 😔 So sorry to hear about the issues with your order.

  9. Frustrated Customer

I went in for the Kisses & KitKat (one of each). They tried ringing me up 3x, and none of the coupons would apply. When I added it to my cart in the app, the coupons applied. I walked out empty-handed. They insisted that I had to buy 2 of the same, but the deal says, “ANY.” So frustrating!

    • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

Very sorry to hear about your experience with trying to snag the candy savings. 🙁 Hoping you might be able to score this deal for in-store pick-up through the app instead. 🤞 There is a $10 minimum requirement for pick-up; so I like to grab household goods that I know I’ll be needing later or have on my grocery list to help meet that threshold – if that might be helpful for you too. ❤️

  10. MrsBK

Does anyone know if u can do this deal more than once if u buy 2 bags in store? I bought 2 bags earlier and coupons are still showing in my account. Thanks

    • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

Great question, MrsBK. You might click on the coupon to view the “terms and conditions” of the coupon that is still showing in your account. The one on the Hershey’s bagged candy for me states – “Limit: 1 coupon per product. Inventory for participating product(s) may vary in store and online. Coupon may only be redeemed once, and is only valid when used with your myWalgreens™ membership. If you received the same coupon by mail, you can redeem either the digital or paper version – but not both. Limit: 1 coupon per product. Inventory for participating product(s) may vary in store and online. Coupon may only be redeemed once, and is only valid when used with your myWalgreens™ membership. If you received the same coupon by mail, you can redeem either the digital or paper version – but not both.” It may take a bit for the coupon to be marked as redeemed, if your coupon has similar wording. Hope this helps! 💞

  11. Deanne Gaudiello

I’m seeing the discounts until I go to check out. prices go back up in the check out screen. I cant get the deals to work. it says my coupons are clipped. so frustrating. am I doing something wrong?

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

SO sorry to hear that, Deanne. Maybe try a different browser or device. You may also have luck shopping in the app versus on desktop. If these tips don’t help, it may be good to reach out to customer service to look into it for you. Hoping the offers start working for you soon! 🤞💞

      • Deanne Gaudiello

thank you.! i was on the app. I’ll try a different way

        • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

          You’re welcome! ❤️

  12. DianeNC

Once again, even though their own app clearly states both a digital manufacturer coupon and a digital store coupon can be stacked – in store or online – only one shows up during checkout at the store (even though both are saved to your account.)

I was fortunate enough to have a nice cashier who was able to find a physical coupon to scan for the one that wasn’t showing up, but they really need to get their act together.

The only way using more than one coupon/offer ever seems to work with Walgreens is if you place the order online for in-store pick-up, but that requires a $10 minimum – customers shouldn’t have to spend extra $$ they don’t have just to get Walgreens coupons to actually work the way they’re supposed to, lol.

(And, by the way, could those Reese’s Peanut Butter Trees get any smaller, lol???)

    • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

Oh no! Sorry to hear what happened in-store with the coupons not applying, DianeNC – but glad to hear how helpful your cashier was to track down a coupon for you to score all the eligible savings! ❤️ You might reach out to Walgreens customer service, if you haven’t already, to share your feedback on this, as they may be able help escalate the coupon issue further that way. 🤗
