Bring Your Own Cup Day is back at 7-11! Here’s the scoop!
Today, April 13th is offically “Bring Your Own Cup (BYOC) Day” at 7-Eleven, Speedway, and Stripes stores! Today only, customers can grab ANY size cup and fill it with their favorite Slurpee flavor for just $1.99.
And to be clear, the term cup is really open to interpretation. If you can fill it and drink from it, then it’s a “cup.”Dennis Phelps, Senior Vice President, Merchandising (Vault and Proprietary Beverages) at 7-Eleven had thisto say, “We love seeing our customers – of all ages – bring their imagination and creativity to life while enjoying our beloved Slurpee drink.”
So come ready with your XL wine glass, cookie jar, Starbucks Cup, Stanley Tumbler, fish bowl, cowboy boot, or anything else that looks like it would hold a Slurpee! From experience, I definitely recommend using something with a lid. The last time my daughter and I took advantage of BYOC, we used an empty 52oz Simply Orange Juice container and it was perfect!
You can fill your container with classic Slurpee flavors like Blue Raspberry, Cherry, Pina Colada, or Coca-Cola. Or try the limited-time-only flavors – Chili Mango and Fanta Dragon Fruit Zero Sugar. You can even make your own customized mix. Creativity is welcome on BYOC Day!
What are the rules of Bring Your Own Cup Day at 7-11?
To maintain a little order in the BYOC universe, the following rules will be enforced:
- One cup per customer
- Clean cups only
- Containers must be watertight
- Your cup must fit upright within a 10-inch diameter hole at the in-store display. Anything taller will not fit under the Slurpee drink dispenser.
If you forget to bring your own cup, 7-11 has you covered! Customers in need can purchase a $1 small Slurpee drink via the 7NOW delivery app. This offer is valid at participating locations only.
7-11 also has another beverage deal for you.
For a limited time only, participating locations are giving members of the 7Rewards loyalty program a special deal. Any rewards member who purchases six coffees, Slurpees, or Big Gulp drinks will get their seventh drink for FREE!
If you’re not part of the rewards program yet, it might be worth your time! You’ll earn points with every purchase. These points can be redeemed for food and snacks at 7-11. You’ll also score fuel savings of 11¢ a gallon on your first 7 trips plus a free Slurpee on your birthday every year!
I told my 9yo about this promotion and he grabbed the largest mixing bowl he could find. While we waited to pay, the couple in front of us thought this was so cool. They not only paid for his slurpee, they gave him $5 too! Thank you for sharing!

My husband found that slurpees do freeze on the bottom of Stanley mugs.
