My eleven-year-old and sixteen-year-old children absolutely love this keyboard. It was actually their first time playing! It was easy to assemble and also has great audio. They use it almost every day. This equipment has been pretty durable for everyday use!
This kit includes a microphone, built-in speakers, a full keyboard, a collapsible chair, and a stand to set it up on – the packaging was perfect! Everything was securely attached, directions to set up were clear and easy to follow, the quality is superb, I’d recommend it! I am really impressed with the quality and the sound of it plus how easy it was to put together!
Perfect little setup for a beginner learning piano. It has a frame, stand for the sheet music, a microphone, a headset, an adapter as well, and even comes with a chair to sit upon. Many different songs were built into it to assist with piano sounds, even sound effects. There is an option to even record your own songs. I highly recommend it to anyone who is just starting out, learning the keys, and interested in music!
I bought this when Hip2Save posted the same special just before Christmas. Timing was everything as the 19 year old decided at the 11th hour he suddenly wanted a keyboard to play music on (never had an interest in that before). I was done shopping for him but at the same time I love to invest in interests other than gaming for him. WIN!
He is over 6 foot tall and solid so I was worried it would be built or sized for a younger kid. Happy to say it is fully functional and useable for an adult. He still uses it. It is definitely worth this price. The only con is the microphone is not that great. Thanks all at Hip2Save for this post.
Oh yay! I am so glad it worked out well for you. We appreciate you taking the time to leave feedback, MN mom!
Would I be able to add a sustain pedal to this keyboard?
Piano teacher chiming in – these are ok to see if your kiddo keeps interest but after a couple months Iβd highly recommend something like a Casio s-100 or s-150. Theyβre on the cheaper end, still realistic feel (full size, weighted and graded keys) so they are less likely to develop bad habits and those come with a sustain pedal (not a great one, but something) and can run on 6 AA batteries if needed. I use one as a travel instrument for outdoor recitals or if I have to teach online out of town.
Thanks so much for sharing this information! π Super helpful.
I bought this in December. My kids are 5 and 8, and really like it. They are taking virtual piano lessons, and I’m excited by how much they enjoy this keyboard.
I don’t know anything about instruments, so take my opinion with a grain of salt, but this keyboard was right for us – it’s not too big, price was right, and my kids are learning to play. Highly recommend. Thanks H2S!
I agree though, the microphone is more like a toy microphone, but everything else is great
How cool! Thanks a ton for the recommendation! Super glad to hear it has been such a hit! ππ
We got this around Christmas and itβs fun for the kids to play with! Definitely not for those serious about piano, but worth $50 for the kids to tinker around with melodies.
Thanks for the feedback, Jodi! Good to know it has been so much fun!
