Amazon Basics Pop Up 10×10 Canopy Just $77 on Amazon (Regularly $144)

I looked at a lot of reviews before I bought this time. We spend a lot of time out of doors as a family, and I have bought, and seen my kids buy numerous such canopies, and they usually get wrecked within a couple of months or several times of setting up and down. This one is the best I have found. So happy. It seems the fabric is thicker and holds up better in rain, wind, and sun. The metal frames have not bent in or out like my previous ones have done. Therefore when the rain comes running off of it, it does not pool up on the outer edge, form a pond, then a lake, then a large crash! With all the metal bending into pretzels! Nope. I have had mine for 3 months now, set up in my backyard in an Oregon winter, with plenty of rain and wind. It is still as good as the first day!

Assembly was very easy although it took two of us to stretch the frame out its 10-foot span but was able to have the whole thing up in about 15 minutes. We have it on our deck over a patio table and chairs we’ve sat under it during mild rains and it works great. Sand bagels keep it secure and in place even with 20+ wind gusts. I highly recommend it.

Construction seems about average, but the one-person setup is the greatest innovation EVER! I did need to attach the weights to one of the corners to be able to drag the legs apart from each other, but that was easy enough. To pop the center of the tent up, you duck underneath the structure, grab the center, and just push upwards until it clicks. To do this, I needed to raise my arm about as high as my head. I’m 5’4″. Flabbergasted at how easy this was.
