Thrifty savings tip: Just make sure you and your family are not actually flushing these. There are great to use but don’t flush – toss in garbage. Every Plumber will tell you these clog toilets. This is a very expensive repair.
Thank you so much for the helpful tip and warning! 💕
I agree. and sewer systems are backing up. Don’t use with septic systems.
I went to check on if a bunch of people reported problems with flushing these. Only one person said it clogged their system, while pretty much everyone says they’re biodegradable and break down upon contact with water. Perhaps that person was doing other stuff to clog their system. But I agree that people who flush normal wipes, have paid hefty plumber fees.
What I usually look for with reviews is not one disgruntled buyer, but a bunch of people saying the same thing. The two most common complaints:
1. They’re really small, thin, and rip easily, causing you to use two at a time.
2. The package isn’t resealable.
I was hopeful for these. From what I can gather, the Amazon Basics stuff is hit and miss, and the price fluctuates a lot, so you need to keep an eye on the Subscribe and Save items.
Thanks so much for the thorough feedback on what you found from reading through the product details and reviews, C.J. Very helpful! ❤️
