I already own AirPods and use them as my primary headphones. I was looking for something cheap to use at work and when I’m on the go. When I saw these new echo buds come up for presale I thought I would take a chance. I’ve only had them for a day but so far I see very little difference between these and my AirPods.
I already own about 30-plus pairs of headphones and earbuds, why do I need more right? For the price with the trade-in on these new buds, I couldn’t resist and I’m glad I let into my indulgences on this one! These buds are now my “go-to” for podcasts and music on my phone. The vocals are very clear, mids are stronger than the highs and lows, but I prefer that. Highs are clear, and lows are defined, this has good bass, but not head-rattling bass, clear and punchy bass.
As for the sound quality, I can’t complain. They are not ultra-expensive headphones, so you can’t expect the best sound quality, but after listening to a few of my favorite songs, I would compare these headphones with 1st Gen Apple Airpods. However, I would say these are more comfortable than Airpods due to the silicone adapter which came preinstalled on the Echo Buds. They are lightweight and don’t hurt my ears after wearing them.
