I LOVE this raincoat! The color is true to the advertisement, and the quality is great. The first time I wore it, someone asked me, “I love your raincoat. Is it an (L.L.) Bean?” I have received many other compliments as well.
It withstands heavy rain, keeping me dry. I appreciate the design of the pockets so rain won’t come in.
The only thing I would caution others about is it is too heavy a fabric to wear in hot weather. Use an umbrella in that case. But for spring, early summer, and fall rainstorms, this is great.
I was looking for a classy, functional rain jacket for a cruise to Alaska for me, and this is it!! It is comfortable to wear while also being more durable than many rain jackets. It is well-made and has a classy fit. I love the beige color, too, as it wears well with all colors. The quality is high and it is a thicker material so is warm as well as an excellent rain repellant. Great purchase.
This hooded rain jacket comes with several surprises in overall quality and attention to detail. The beautiful soft black material is quite lightweight and comfortable but waterproof and keeps me dry. The coat is unlined, but the interior is nice and comfy even against my bare arms, so it will be great for even the warmest weather. And the many snaps will keep out the rain even in windy storms – including at the neck and on wrists and pockets. The medium size is exactly as expected. Slight odor on the opening but it dissipated quickly when aired out. Love it, love it!
