Ibotta only gave me back $4 – they aren’t giving cash back on the free item. I disputed it with them and they still only gave $4 total.

Oh darn! Thank you so much for that update, Jace. Good to know how it worked for you.

I did the offer yesterday at self-checkout. My receipt printed $4.99 for each one. Got $8.00 from Ibotta.

      • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Oh good! Thanks for letting us know your experience!

I tried this deal and Ibotta declined to give any rebates, stated that a promotion and coupon had been used at time of purchase at Kroger and therefore invalidated the rebates.

    • Renee

wanted to add that receipt showed 1 at $0.00 and the other $8.99 , with digital coupon applied and Ibotta wouldn’t give either one a rebate. Not even the $8.99 as a coupon had been used.

    • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

Bummer! Appreciate you chiming in on your experience with this one, Renee. 💕

  3. Lulu

I was able to get the $8 rebate from ibotta plus they were $9.79 at Fred Meyer’s, so they ended up costing 79 cents total after coupon and rebate.

    • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

SWEET! Sure appreciate you hopping in to the comments to share your experience with this deal, Lulu! What a great price! 🎉

Sounds like there’s a bit of an issue with this deal Ibotta a seems to have gotten worse over the years I rarely use them these days should I not clip the digital coupon has anyone had luck clipping the digital coupon and getting the eight dollars back?
