I tried to request more and it said this address has reached the current limit for test orders. I have only requested them once.

    • B Walt

It said the same for me as well & we’ve only requested them the one time.

    • M W

      try using a different name

      • Tleeg74

It goes by address, not name.

    • Mizz Mo

    • Del

      Same here.

    • sara

      same thing here.

  2. Mary Ann

    Worked for me!!

  3. Amy

Mine went through with no problems–this is my second order. Thanks for posting, the mass testing sites are shutting down, so these are nice to have on hand.

    • Alli (Hip Sidekick)

So glad it worked for you! 🙌

  4. Ldilsaver

Just an fyi that the ones I received free expire in June. Keep and eye on the date. From what I’ve heard they’re suppose to be good 3 months after expiration but if you got 4 free that expire soon and get 4 more you may have a lot that expire soon. It’s the luck of the draw I’m sure as which ones you get but free is free 🙂

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks so much for the helpful warning and tip! Good to know!

    • Elaine

I also heard that shipping in extreme heat can ruin them so if you live in a warm area, you might want to go ahead and get them now.

    • Marie

Open the box. Many people have reported that they have seen longer dates inside.

    • Momma Will

This is great advice but I wanted to throw out the fact that I kept covid tests in my car from October through July in my car. The weather reached extremes and they were surely expired. Unfortunately, our family had to test recently, they actually worked! Popped 3 positives (all got well) and I was just amazed. I kind of forgot about them bc nobody needed them until we did. Test at your own risk but I’d save them just in case. May be bad advice but hey, it’s honest advice!

  5. Lisa

I have not read all the comments here, lol Forgive me if this is a repeat: some of the free tests were recalled.

    • hane

      which ones?

  6. Jennifer

Do the sterile swabs in this brand light up under a UV light like the Abbott brand does? I hoped it was a nasty rumor but I got my UV light and tried. That sucker lit up like a Christmas tree! Why would a sterile swab light up? Is it the chemical they use to sterilize the swabs?

    • Karen

I tried the same thing with mine and it also lit up like a Christmas tree. I made a video and shared it with everyone who would look at it. All I can say is the mark of the beast is coming.

      • steve R

They light up because they are white, has nothing to do with being sterile…

  7. Kathy

It did not work for me either and we only received them them once in past

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

DARN! Hoping you might receive them this time if you decide to sign up again. 🤞💞

  8. Mary

It worked for me but in my first order I only received 2 tests not 4; was this the case for anyone else?

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Oh bummer! Did you by chance get two boxes, each including two tests?

    • Mayra

Hi Mary. I ordered my test about 3 weeks ago and I also received 2 boxes but each box has 2 test. I am assuming that is where they are getting 4 from.

    • Sandy

    • barbara

There are 2 tests in the boxes for a total of four. Same with the recent orders four boxes 2 tests in each for a total of 8. I used this last batch of tests this week. They were accurate same results as the pcr.

  9. liz

I am a fence-sitter concerning COVID information. So, keeping an open mind, I went to order the free test kits. On the order form, I read the part about not sharing my information with ANYONE…. except: the government, vendors, etc., etc, and pretty much anyone else that wanted to know if you are getting a test kit. Does anyone else have a problem with them sharing your information with EVERYBODY! This seems too invasive of my privacy. I decided not to get this “freebie” since the price was too high.

    • Manda

Thank you for this comment. Before I signed up for them, I went straight to the comments to see if anybody mentioned anything like this. Now I don’t have to waste my time!

    • Stella

No problem here. I do have a problem with others who can, are able to and yet refuse to do their part to alleviate our collective suffering. Global pandemic requires we all do our part. That us all.

      • Trish

        🤣🤣🤣🤣. #proudunvaxxed

  10. Barbara

Didn’t work. Says we already received our limit

    • betsily

same here. this is my third time ordering, and hip2save said we could order for the third time. not sure what the deal is…? maybe we have to wait a bit before trying to request again?

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks for commenting, Barbara! Sorry for any confusion. There is a limit of 2 per household. We’ve updated the post details. ❤️🤗

  11. Teresa

Same here, my address has reached its limit of 2 sets. I’ll wait a few days and try it again.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks for sharing with us, Teresa! It does appear that there is a limit of 2 per household. The details have been updated.❤️ Sorry for any confusion!

  12. Fizban1959

I was denied, This address has reached the current limit for test orders. I’ve received 2 shipments.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks so much for letting us know. ❤️It seems there is a limit of two per household. We’ve updated the details. 🙌 So sorry for the confusion.

  13. Wren

Please. Just stop. 😝 This site really needs a “not interested” button at this point so I don’t have to see this junk. Or I could just get off the site altogether, which would be sad but fine too…

    • Lisha

There’s always something we may not be interested in. I’m glad you realize you have options. I normally just move to the next post that interest me.

    • Marie

Why not order your share and do a good deed and give them to those who may really appreciate having them handy?

    • IMHO

Why would you complain about reading something that you ARE NOT required to read? Grow up, act like an adult. Sheesh!

    • Mary

When something doesn’t interest me or my family doesn’t use like cat or dog food I scroll along same concept!

  14. dylanfan

Free at-home COVID-19 rapid tests are available for order and shipment through the United States Postal Service®. Each order will contain 4 tests. There is a limit of 2 orders per residential address. Additional tests cannot be ordered regardless of the size of the household. Notes: If you placed an order previously, then you can now place a second order. If you did not place an order previously, then you can place two separate orders, each containing a total of 4 tests.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks for sharing the information on these! Much appreciated! 🥰Our post details have been updated.

  15. Pamela

I got a set, Thanks! (I’d only ordered one other time.)

    • Alli (Hip Sidekick)

      You’re welcome, Pamela!

  16. Robyn

Yeah it didn’t work for me

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Sorry for any confusion, Robyn. Were you able to order twice? It does seem there is a limit of 2 per household. We have updated the wording above. Hoping that is helpful! ❤️🤗

  17. Randi

Check out “Watch the Water” documentary and start asking questions and stop with the propaganda. They do not care about our health and well being.

    • Karen

That was eye opening. I saw that also. Watch the whole thing. Mark is the beast is coming!

  18. Rosa

Everyone has free will to request or buy something or not. Move on to the next post if not interested.

  19. Bunny

“This address has reached the current limit for test orders.”

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks, Bunny! We’re seeing there is a limit of two orders per household. We’ve updated the post details above. Sorry for the confusion. 🥰❤️

  20. ktroche32

    Thanks for this

    • Alli (Hip Sidekick)

      You’re welcome 🙌

  21. Dana

I got the last 2 that were available and had no problem ordering this one too.

  22. Carrie

Thanks! We were able to order more.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You’re welcome, Carrie! 🤗

  23. Marie

Really appreciate this post. Got 8 more!

  24. CW

In the Spring, I sent in for my second order. I only got half of what I was supposed to. The other half never came. When I ordered today it went through. Here’s hoping they show up

  25. Faith

Thank you for posting this. I have used a few of the last batch, and only have 3 test left. These came at the perfect time. Thank you for all you do.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

You’re SO very welcome, Faith! ❤️Glad you could order more!

    • Karen

      Same this was perfect timing.

  26. Joanne

Thanks so much! I couldn’t get them last time you posted, but got them this time!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

You’re so welcome, Joanne! Happy you could snag them this time! 🎉

  27. Lase

These came in very handy on Saturday night. 2 days back from Cancun and I tested positive for covid. Still battling it

    • Beverly

      Hope you feel better soon!

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Hoping you feel better real soon, Lase! ❤️

  28. riss

Thanks for the post. Just ordered it, and said it will come in 2 batches.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

      You’re welcome, Riss!

  29. Laurie V

Thank you very much for posting these again. My daughter is homeschooled, and we use these for science experiments. We never tested for the flu so we would obviously never test for this. She does a test about once a week with different liquids. I also love getting them out of the hands of people who love to test and add to the numbers.

    • Trish

👏👏👏👏👏 teaching your daughter the truth!! Good job mom!

    • M

You may want to invest in a real science curriculum.

  30. Sara

Just a heads up, these do not seem much different than the first batches they gave away at the beginning of the year. Those expired in July for me and I just got my order in for this new batch offering and they expire in the middle of July as well so very very short shelf life.

  31. Laura

For those who got ihealth tests, you can check whether the expiration date has been extended at . Mine now have expiration dates 6 months further out.

    • V

Thank you Laura. I had just recently ordered more and they expire mid August, so your comment is helpful. We have a couple of weddings coming up. I personally do not want my kids spreading Covid to grandparents, so we will check before we go.

  32. paul

Friday, Sept 2nd, will be the last day that the government will be sending out the free Covid-19 tests.

    • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks for the heads up on that, Paul! ❤️

  33. Cherrill

All that we have received are now expired.

    • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

Bummer! Hoping these will have longer shelf dates for you, Cherrill!

    • VickiL

Scroll down and click on your brand. It will go to another page where you can check your lot number and see your test kits new expiration date. Maybe Hip2save would want to make a post about this. There are others ways to get to this information besides Good Housekeeping if you google the test kit and expiration.

    • aschmutz

I work for Kaiser and we were giving out the same test. They actually have a longer expiration date then stated on the box. There is a QR code that you can scan and you can put in the lot number to get a more accurate Exp date. I believe it’s sometime in October .

  34. Minh

You also can come to pharmacy to get free at home covid test which will be billed to your insurance
