These are simple but fun. My 2-year-old likes pulling it like a sleigh- either with him on it or a toy. The 5 year old I had over liked wiggling in it and tried ‘surfing’ while being pulled. The rope can easily slip in or out to make it more of a pull sled, but it’s glued in place to avoid undoing the handle. they’ve been left in the rain and in the Midwest fast changing temperatures with no signs of warping. This is a very simple toy with lots of potentials if you can see it. Seem very sturdy and smooth- no splinter worries or rough patches.
My daughter has something very similar and when she received it as a gift, I thought there was no way she’d play with it. I was quickly proved wrong when it became a favorite. It’s such a simple toy, and yet it’s been used as a pirate ship, a surfboard, troll bridge, and so much more.
