My son Michael collects older toys so we had batteries everywhere in varying degrees of strength. So I bought this more for the battery tester. But it has so many compartments I can separate the full strength from the other & toss the almost dead & dead ones from each other. A local hardware story had 24 batteries of either Double A or Triple A on sale for $4.99. So for 2 cents less than $10. I got 48 alkaline batteries and still had spaces to spare. Plus all the other sizes as well. Now everyone knows where to find the batteries & whether they are fully charged or not.
