Do you have a Walgreens Booster Coupon?
Be sure to check your Walgreens coupons for Booster coupons. Some accounts have one that offers $20 in Walgreens Cash when you spend $40, $10 when you spend $25 or $5 when you spend $15 OR $10 in Walgreens Cash when you spend $1. Keep in mind you’ll need to clip the coupon BEFORE shopping to take advantage of these savings! Note that these offers can vary by account.
If you’re not receiving the weekly booster coupons, make sure to check your emails from Walgreens. I often have the booster in an email but not showing on my account until I click through the email!
Our Best Tips & Tricks When Shopping Walgreens, especially with coupon codes:
If you’re placing multiple orders this week, try to place the first order to score Walgreens Cash Rewards or Register Rewards, then use those rewards on another order to lower the cost of your second transaction and score some freebies!
Walgreens Cash Rewards can be used in increments of $1, $2, $3, $4, $5, $10, $20, and $50.
You can easily save Walgreens digital coupons to your account by clipping the coupon right on the product page of the item. Plus, if you forget to clip a coupon, Walgreens makes it easy and tells you one is available right next to the product at checkout. Walgreens’ digital coupon offers can vary widely by user, so your values may be a little different.
Keep in mind that there’s a $10 minimum pickup order BEFORE Walgreens digital coupons are applied.
Hip Tip from Collin: Having issues placing an order online? Try the Walgreens app! We often have an easier time navigating the app for placing orders. Plus, if you place an order and parts of your order are canceled, they’ll still honor the sale prices on whatever is fulfilled.

My Walgreens just gave me a physical receipt on an online pickup order for the first time in months. Here is the procedure in case you want to try asking at your store. The store rep scans the QR code on the pickup bag with the handheld scanner for checkout. This generates a QR code on the handheld device. The clerk takes the device over to a cash register connected to a printer, scans it and a customer receipt is printed. Hopefully this will work for others who need a physical receipt. Physical receipts must be turned on in your account settings as well.
Yay! This is super helpful, JD827! Thanks a bunch for sharing these steps that allowed you to get a physical receipt. I’ll have to give it a try on my next store pick-up order! 🙌❤️

Crossing my fingers it works for you! Best wishes!❤️
I haven’t had any problems with getting physical receipts thank goodness. When I tell them I want a receipt, they just scan it with the regular scanner instead of the handheld device and it prints one out. Wonder why it is so different at different stores??
Hi Tracey! I have never had an issue with getting a physical receipt either. Have a great day everyone!

How’s does the Walgreens booster works?
Hey there! Those can vary by account and are available for added savings when making certain purchases, based on the fine print of your offer. Be sure to check the details of the booter coupon you may receive and “clip” it before shopping. ❤️
I found out that you don’t want to click on “on my way” or “I’m here” before you go in the store because when I did that once, I didn’t get a receipt and they said they couldn’t print one after doing this.
I just picked up my curbside order in store and had the same thing happen to me 😞
The Nivea idea did not work

With Walgreens it is always “select” products. Make sure you read the descriptions and each Nivea you select is part of the “Buy 3 get $5 WC deal”. That might be the problem. Have you picked it up? If not the WC won’t appear in your account until you do. Also remember that any amount that comes off from using the discount code “Nivea” Will not count towards the “spend $30 get $7 in WC” digital booster coupon. If after checking the items you find that you did purchase items eligible for WC call customer service and get the WC added to your account.
In my experience, getting a receipt for sure depends on the store. I did two pickups at two different locations this weekend. One of the works grabbed my order, scanned the code, and handed me a receipt. The next store went and grabbed my stuff from the back, came back out and said Here Ya Go. I said Can I get a receipt? Then he replied saying the stickers on my Gain and the other bag were my receipts. No time to haggle with him so I just said Okay and left.

Yes it really depends on how the staff is trained and the policy the store manager sets. Staff trained on the old cash register checkout will tend to do it that way and give you a printed receipt. Newer staff trained on the new handheld scanners without attached printers do it that way. At my current store the manager says the policy is to do it digitally on the handhelds and that is it. Once items are checked out digitally it is true that it is a done deal and there is no possibility of getting a printed receipt. You do have a digital receipt in your account but of course that won’t work for Ibotta. As far as I know there is no official national policy on how the checkouts are done. It seems to be left up to the manager. If your store still does it the old-fashioned way that’s a plus.
