This bike rack is all that you will ever need. I have been using three of these racks for all of my bikes and absolutely love them. It’s been over a year since I bought my first three units, and I am back for two more – expanding my bike collection!

Sometimes I push this thing to its limit and hang ALL of my gear on my bike while it is hooked onto the wall (this comes at around 40-42 pounds). What’s the deal with all these people saying it won’t fit their average-sized mountain bike tires? I have 2.5″ tires on my mountain bike and it mounts perfectly.

I never trust drywall to hold up anything over a pound, so I recommend anchoring these into the studs. Since I am using three hooks, soon to be five, I have a piece of 2X6 wood running the length of space I need and anchor that into the studs. This way I can space out the bike racks evenly and it looks great. With this method, no matter where you mount the rack, it’ll be on a “stud”.

You can transform a cheap piece of wood with a couple of coats of stain and a few layers of polyurethane. This is the best rack to use to hang your bikes on the wall.
