We bought this for our son’s 3rd birthday, he got great practice on it inside the house before the snow melted! He’s been on it just about every day for over 3 months and withstood some rides from older siblings! It’s super sturdy and well-made. I’m confident it will eventually be passed down in the same great shape!
I bought this bike for my 2.5-year-old twins. It is well-constructed and durable with a metal frame and non-inflatable tires but is still light enough to carry in one hand. The seat is very easy to raise and lower, and the lowest setting is much lower than other balance bikes I’ve seen, which is great because my twins are not the tallest. There is a foot brake/footrest, which is unique and I hope will help them transition to a pedal bike more easily when the time comes.
They are intrigued by the handlebars. They only rest their hands on top for now, but as they get more comfortable, I’m hoping they will hold onto the bottom portion of the handles, which will help them get even better at balancing.
