Costco Membership Fees Increasing in September (First Price Increase Since 2017)

If you’ve been interested in a Costco membership, now is the time to sign up! In a news article posted on July 10th, Costco confirmed that its membership fees will increase effective September 1, 2024 – this is the first price hike since 2017.
The annual membership fees will increase by $5 for United States and Canada Gold Star members making the annual fee $65. Also effective September 1, annual fees for Executive Memberships will increase from $120 to $130 and the maximum annual 2% Reward associated with the Executive Membership will increase from $1,000 to $1,250.

My order has been canceled twice. It says card or billing address issues, but there’s nothing wrong with those. It charged me twice. Idk what I’m doing wrong.

Which customer service, Costco or Groupon? Also didn’t give me the option to sign up for auto renew on checkout. I double-checked the second time. I made sure it was set up after the fact though.

I got the order confirmation but nothing about the $40 credit. Any idea how long that usually tales to process? I used the code and got the 1 cent discount and I’m set to auto renew so I believe I did everything correctly.
Hi there, Jen! It looks like the credit should also be emailed, but I’m not finding any details on how long it might take to receive. I would say if you don’t have it within 24-48 hours, you could try reaching out to customer service. You might also check your spam/junk mail to be sure it didn’t land there! 🤞💗
