Join CVS CarePass Program to Earn $10 Rewards Every Month + Free Shipping on Select Items
See more savings and rewards on your next CVS receipt!
It seems like every store has a rewards program these days, but we think CVS’s CarePass Membership is well worth the cost! Best of all, you can try CarePass FREE for the first month when you signup either in-store or online!
*Note this offer is only available to new members and limited to participating locations.
CarePass offers awesome perks, but what really impressed us is the FREE $10 ExtraBuck Reward members receive every single month! Plus, add just one single CarePass eligible item to your cart and your entire order will ship free. 🤯
Combined with coupons, sales, and earned rewards from other promotions, the CarePass Membership gives shoppers so many opportunities to snag HOT deals on groceries, medicine, personal care products and more!
Hip Tip: Look for the “Ships Free with CarePass” badge to easily find products that qualify for free shipping.
Don’t qualify for the free month? Join CarePass for the low price of $5/month OR pay the discounted annual membership fee of $48/year – that works out to just $4/month!
With the $120 in rewards you’ll score throughout the year, as well as all the savings on shipping costs, this membership more than pays for itself!
I joined a week ago and am very impressed, they gave the $10 right away. I have already used the $10 online and spent just 27¢ for items shipped to me. Also, I was able to get one item shipped for half price with the 20% off CVS items and a coupon combined! – Hip Reader, Aharv
I love my CVS Carepass because it instantly doubles in value! For $5 a month, I receive $10 in CVS Extra Care Bucks to apply towards my purchase online or in-store. When I stack that with any promotions or deals running during that month, I save even more! I also have my prescriptions sent to my door without any additional shipping costs to me! It’s really a no-brainer to me! – Soleil, Hip Sidekick
AND, there are even more awesome CarePass benefits:
- Free same-day Rx delivery on qualifying prescriptions (no minimum required)
- Free 1 to 2-day shipping when you add at least one CarePass eligible item to your basket
- 20% off CVS Health brand products both in-store and online
- Access to a 24/7 Pharmacist Helpline
- Monthly $10 promotional reward loaded to your ExtraCare card 🙌🏼
While it’s not an official perk of the program, some CarePass members have also noticed more coupons and rewards in their CVS account since joining!
Here are just a few low-cost CarePass eligible items that will help your score that free shipping on your next order!
- Gold Emblem Creamy Peanut Butter 18oz Jar $3.79 + free shipping w/ CarePass

- CVS Health Infants Ibuprofen Concentrated Drops $5.91 after 20% discount + free shipping w/ CarePass
My insurance gave this to me for free so I’m excited to learn more about it. I was able to use a bogo sale and my free 10 bucks to score two bottles of vitamin D for just 59 cents!
That is an awesome insurance perk and a great buy!
they charge your account $5 plus tax… so in the end you really only get $4 and some change towards an item of $10 minimum
You’re right, Traci, there is a monthly fee. I don’t see taxes included on my $5 monthly charge. You can do the yearly option for $48 to get it down to $4 monthly. It is so easy to use that $10 EB to roll into deals that offer EB’s so you can turn it into much more savings!
Can you use the Carepass to pay for prescriptions at the pharmacy?
Hey there! I did check on that for you. The monthly reward cannot be used on prescriptions.
Here are the full details –
“Rewards are promotional, have no cash value and are not redeemable for cash. Rewards cannot be used to pay for CarePass membership fees. They also cannot be used on alcohol, lottery, money orders, prescriptions and copays, pseudoephedrine/ephedrine products, postage stamps, prepaid cards, gift cards, newspapers and magazines, milk (where required by law or regulation), bottle deposits, bus passes, hunting and fishing licenses, any imposed governmental fees or items reimbursed by a government health plan.”
Hope this is helpful!
