I would thoroughly recommend these blankets. I have a habit of storing things in my oven as I use my Ninja oven for most things, unless it is Thanksgiving or Christmas. My friend turned my oven on, not realizing there were items inside. The next thing we knew, the oven was on fire with flames everywhere. I grabbed one of these blankets, and the fire was out almost immediately. I was very impressed, and I bought a bunch more to put all over the house and by the grill outside. Well worth the price. Every home should have a fire blanket or two! They are faster and easier to operate than a fire extinguisher. Our smoker grill caught on fire once, and we had to use it! We had not cleaned the inside of the grill in a while, and it caught on fire from the inside. Huge flames, pretty scary. The fire blanket put it out immediately. I was so grateful we had it. This blanket saved my life and home. I recently bought these blankets just to have around for peace of mind. On Sept 15th, 2023, my vacuum was on the charger, and the lithium battery caught on fire. I threw the blanket on the vacuum, and it absolutely smothered the fire. The fire dept was so impressed that it worked as intended.
