We started sleep training my baby at about 4 months old and using this sock/camera at the same time. I’ve used it now for several months consistently and honestly don’t know how I managed without it!
First off, the camera is an AMAZING quality product. The picture is very clear daytime or night; I love that it notifies me when baby is awake, and since my phone is linked to my watch it dings on my watch that my baby is “noisy”. It’s so convenient to pull her up from anywhere on my phone, I mean I can watch her crib from my work miles away!
Now the sock. I didn’t think my baby would like to wear it at night but she don’t mind at all! The sock is good quality, it’s greatly designed, the material is very soft, and the sensor picks up heart rate and tracks sleep very accurately. I mean it does all the work for you, on the app it shows you when baby fell asleep, how long they slept, any wake ups overnight/naps. I mean just an amazing tool to have when sleep training, and overall managing the very sensitive first years of your baby’s life.
The baby keeps the sock on all night even when kicking or moving around. I have such piece of mind knowing that it will notify me if anything goes wrong with the baby.
In the matter of months I only had one false alarm on baby’s heart rate, so I can confidently say you won’t be receiving a bunch of random frightening bad alarms all night long. The app is very easy to use, the whole set up process was a breeze with a step by step directions provided, I mean just can’t recommend enough!
