With temps on the 80s all month in texas, they were dead weeks ago. I hope a family doesnt catch their house on fire with one of these.

Cool, I always wanted to try to propagate a Christmas tree from its branches.

Gratitude! Thanks for sharing. If someone really needs a tree, it wouldn’t matter if it’s “dead,” brown or missing leaves. A tree trunk with branches will do and bring some level of joy.

Guys remember Christmas is in 2 days! It doesn’t have to last very long! I drilled a bunch of holes in the bottom trim, stuck it in water and gave it a name of Winston the Christmas tree, and hope for the best! The kids are excited!

Discounting and giving away trees is not a new practice for retailers. My dad was notoriously cheap though he didn’t need to be. One Christmas season he went to a local craft store/nursery 2 days before Christmas to get a free tree. My sister and I, who were teens at the time, were horrified as he may have taken a tree from someone in need. My dad never did it again as we all gave him a hard time. We’ve all had difficult times since then but have been blessed with always having a home, food, family and friends. I pray you all be so fortunate. Merry Christmas 🎄🎁😊
