I love this crockpot (slow cooker) because you can cook large or small dishes by programming the cooking time and temperature. I have cooked turkey roast, pork roasts, fish, and numerous vegetables with perfect results. The best part is the easy cleanup. Because the ceramic pot easily lifts from the cooker it can be rinsed in the sink and then placed in the dishwasher without any hassle. My old crockpot did not have a removable ceramic pot and was a nightmare to clean. I also love the temperature probe feature that allows you to cook large roasts or poultry and get consistently good results. The keep-warm feature is super.
I researched slow cookers and Instant Pots for over a year before finally buying this one. It is currently (2/9/21) rated number one in slow cookers by Consumer Reports. Before this, I used a Crock-Pot with low/high and off settings, so this is wonderful. Plus the size makes slow cooking even more of an advantage because I can freeze meal-size portions for later. The pot comes out of the base easily and is easier to clean than my old one. I also like the options to check the temperature, keep a warm cycle and maintain a temp cycle. The latter two can be used at the end of a cooking cycle so something like chicken doesn’t get over-cooked and dried out. I think this slow cooker is great!
