I basically live in my bed. Gross, sure, but I eat and drink in my bed, paint, do my nails, etc. I’ve had everything from wine, ketchup, nail polish, and even various bodily fluids, get on my bed, and on this topper. Light work— Just peel it off, toss it in the washer, and it’s like nothing even happened. No weird mystery stains you feel embarrassed about on your bare mattress. It’s very soft, too, so if you’re like me and get too lazy to immediately put sheets on your bed (be honest with yourself here) it sleeps well. Very helpful that the edges go pretty far in, too, so it doesn’t slip off your bed, and keeps even the sides clean.

I have ordered several waterproof mattress covers for myself and my family members. I wouldn’t have a bed without them. The mattress cover has experienced diarrhea, vomiting, and, one time only, urine from our small dog. (He can no longer jump off the bed due to old age and no one had put him on the floor so he could go outside; can’t blame him for that.) EVERYTHING washes out with no problem and the cover continues to be soft and water-resistant. These mattress covers are large enough to easily fit 15″ mattresses. They are not noisy and they are not hot to sleep on, like plastic or plastic-lined covers are. I highly recommend them, even if you do not have children or pets. You never know what might end up on your bed!

I ordered this mattress cover to replace one that just doesn’t fit anymore. We have a 12-inch mattress with a 2-inch topper. I measured to be sure it would fit, but also tried on the corner to be certain this mattress cover would tuck under our mattress. Once washed in cold water and dried on medium, this mattress cover fits perfectly. I am very pleased with the quality and design.
