“The materials on both sides of this blanket are very soft. It was purchased as a lap blanket for watching television, etc. It has many settings for heat. I find the lowest setting is more than sufficient. But I’d also has a great function of choosing the amount of hours before it automatically shuts off (unlike heating pads that often shut off after 10 minutes). Very lightweight and the cord is also long enough. I haven’t tried to wash it, but it does state that it can be done. Great value if somebody wants something like this for comfort and warmth. Highly recommend.“
