Giant Skeleton in yard for Halloween

We’re halfway to Halloween and Home Depot is already celebrating! 🎃

Year after year the Poseable 12′ Skeleton Skeleton continue to be incredibly popular, and customers might have a huge bone to pick with Home Depot if they didn’t return for 2023.

The great news is that these popular skeletons have returned EARLY for the same price of $299, along with their 12′ Inferno Pumpkin King friend for $379! If you’re interested, you’ll want to scoop yours up asap as these sell out fast every year!

Both decorations feature spooky, lifelike LCD eyes that appear to move and blink as it activates to keep your yard looking bad to the bone! They also come with a sturdy metal frame and ground stakes to keep them stable during those windy fall nights.

Some people even leave theirs up through Christmas and dress them in Santa suits to get a couple more months of use before they get packed away for the next year.

Get Halloweird with these over-the-top decorations…

This gigantic skeleton can be plugged in or battery operated and has a timer function for 6 hours on and 18 hours off. Use outdoors for a totally spine-tingling centerpiece!

12-Foot Pumpkin Skeleton

In addition to his LCD eyes, this creepy pumpkin skeleton has a flaming chest. Plus, he’s fully plug-powered and has poseable arms.

Reviewers absolutely LOVE these giant skeletons

I have nothing bad to say about the Big Leboneski. People would stop dead in their tracks when they saw him. I have a large yard hunt and this was definitely the main attraction. It provided people with really good Halloween photos.

Everything I was hoping it would be! Assembly was quick and simple. The eyes seem to follow you, which adds to the creep factor. Wish I could convince my husband to decorate it for other holidays and keep it out year-round!

HD really knocked it out of the park with this skeleton. Photos don’t convey his impressive size. I got one in 2020 and he did just fine in heavy wind and rain and I liked him so much I picked up a twin in 2022. He’s a lot easier to assemble than you would think. I really appreciate the upgrade to include an adapter in the eyes (not available in 2020). Don’t let the price tag fool you, he’s great quality for the price.

You can make your own Halloween wreath – we’ll show you how!

These are quite bad enough in just October… and then people starting ruining Christmas decor by using these. Now we can only get a few months of peace before being reminded of their existence again?!? 😢 It is still April, folks! Goodness gracious… ☹️

I don’t understand why people get so upset at others happiness. If you don’t like, don’t buy it. Simple as that. What someone else does has no impact on you. I love this kind of stuff because it makes kids happy when they pass my house. I don’t do it for people like you to pass judgement on what qualifies as “appropriate Christmas decor”. It’s my yard, not yours. Move along if you don’t like it.

      • Madelyn

It is not just about not buying it and moving along. It freaks my young kids out and we can’t avoid it other than have them turn their head when we drive down the road to our house (can’t access any other way) and can’t go on a walk down the road that way. Please realize not everyone is happy when they see these, and it is harder to deal with when they are left out for so long. I felt like it was time to say something when now they are even being sold in April.

So make it a teaching moment for your kids. There’s going to be things in life every day that you’ll have to or want to avoid, not just a yard decoration. There’s things that I don’t like but it’s none of my business nor is it my place to tell someone not to do something just because I don’t like it. If it’s not illegal, move on. The world is not going to stop just because you don’t like something. People will always do what they want because we live in a world where we have free will to do so. No one can dictate to me that I can only use a skeleton during Halloween or that I can only use decor during holidays that society deems “normal” decor. Hip2Save does an amazing job giving a huge demographic the items that they would want on sale. If you’re not the target audience, move on to a post that actually is something you’d buy. Don’t dog on other people that enjoy these things.

I would think your children would get used to them after a while and realize they’re just decorations and lose the fear. We need to see things in a more positive way. My neighbor had an eyesore of a camping RV parked in front of their house for a while. My first reaction was negative but honestly I didn’t lose anything so I changed my way of thinking and went about my life. Eventually they moved it almost a year later. I can’t imagine being upset over something for that long so glad I chose not to carry that burden with me of being unhappy over an eyesore (in my opinion). Stay kind and pay it forward.

There’s lots of reasons to not have a skeleton out all year long, but it actually does affect other people when you have to look at it every day and it’s ridiculously oversized and your children are scared of it. Halloween is bad enough with people now putting out all these gross bloody obscenely scary things and your kids are afraid to go down certain streets for months. I am obviously not afraid of these things, but they’re disgusting to look at even for me. People go way overboard with the gore.

    • Livlee

People here dress them up for every occasion. It isn’t just a halloween thing…

I love these. I saw them too late last year but I keep seeing them in everyone’s yards and I love how they dress them up throughout the year! Thanks so much.

    • Trish (Hip Sidekick)

You’re welcome, Kina! Glad you are loving them! So fun to dress them up throughout the year! 💕

  3. Hope

My neighbor has this & it’s awesome! He dresses it up for Thanksgiving & then Christmas. I wish he’d leave it up all year and dress it up for all of the holidays!

    • Trish (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks for sharing how your neighbor dresses this up for different holidays, Hope! So fun! 🤗 ❤️

  4. TravelSuz

I waited too late. I decided to purchase the one for $299 this morning and it’s out of stock. Ugh 😣 I’ll keep trying.

    • Trish (Hip Sidekick)

Bummer! Hoping these might come back in stock soon, TravelSuz! 🤞 💕

  5. Susan Muniz

Love this! I have one of each style plus the hovering witch. We get so many compliments at Halloween and it’s fun to watch people take selfies in front of them while Trick or Treating. Their size truly is impressive. Enjoy!! <3

    • Trish (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks so much for the helpful review on these, Susan! The hovering witch sounds fun too! So glad that both you and the trick or treaters enjoy these at Halloween! 🥰
