Instead of having a bunch of dumbbells of different weights, you can set the amount of weight you want to work out by just turning the shaft and selecting amounts from 15 pounds up to 55 pounds. I’m amazed at the ease of use and the weights are indeed what they say they are.
The only drawback and it really isn’t a drawback as I am planning on purchasing another set is that you can only work one arm at a time. But for doing curls or other one-handed exercises this will complete your weightlifting set or even be enough for the beginner to start out with.
I used to lift weights quite frequently and have gotten away from it as I didn’t really have enough space in my apartment for barbells and a weight bench. These dial-a-weight dumbells are perfect for my smaller space and I’ll be able to once again strengthen my arms and upper body.
I got this for my husband, and he absolutely loves it. Not only does it work well but it looks great, very sleek with a nice stand. This set is compact enough to fit under our bed and out of the way when we don’t need them. They are very high quality and exactly as described. Great set!
