I got a deal on the Barbie dream house for my daughter’s 4th birthday. Fast forward 7 months and I couldn’t stand the thing. Flimsy plastic, huge and because of the awkward shape, was impossible to put flat against a wall, etc.. tons of pieces that my kids just didn’t use.
They love the Disney Princess Shimmer dolls so I found this and loved that it had a smaller footprint, you can close the doors to hide the clutter and bonus, the dancing on top.
I received this around 5:30 pm, it took me about an hour to put together including the little furniture and I love it. Seems so much sturdier than the Barbie dream house and as far as difficulty level of furniture assembly, this is one of the easiest things I’ve put together. My kids love it and so do I!
