My New Favorite Sephora Eyeshadow Palette + More Kohl’s Holiday Makeup Buys!

Who knew that you only needed three products to achieve a festive look?! These may not be officially marketed as “holiday makeup”, nonetheless, I was able to create a soft glam holiday makeup look using only three products I recently scooped up from Sephora at Kohl’s.

I love shopping from Sephora at Kohl’s because they occasionally offer even better savings than regular Sephora locations! Plus, while you may not be able to spend Kohl’s Cash on Sephora products, you ARE able earn it for your Sephora purchases. The three items I used for my holiday makeup look are the Sephora Collection Mini Pocket Sun Eyeshadow Palettes in Dusk Time, Tarte SEA H2O Lip Gloss in Hang Ten, and HUDA BEAUTY Classic False Lashes in Scarlett #8.

I used every color on this eyeshadow palette…and even used it as a lip stain! 😆

The Pocket Palette has some incredible colors that lasted me all day with zero fallout. It was the perfect balance between shimmer and matte hues. With four palette options to choose from, you’re sure to find a color scheme that fits your liking. I went with Dusk Time since it has shades that are fabulous for holiday looks while being neutral enough to use year-round. It’s also the perfect size to bring on the go with you if you’re needing a touch-up.

Although I loved the Tarte Seo H2O lip gloss on its own, I wanted a mega-glam look, which meant adding a color that would pop! 😘 I often find maximum uses with my makeup products and using a shadow as a lip tint is no different.

Once I added the gloss on top of the rich brick-red shadow shade from the eyeshadow palette, I was dazzled by this lip look! This was the perfect holiday combo I didn’t know I needed until now. 🤩 Since it’s water-based, this Tarte gloss was extremely hydrating while not being sticky. It was a beautiful color on its own but is more of a sheer look rather than a dark color. If you’re looking for more of a wow factor, it never hurts to layer this gloss with another product.

To give an extra boost to my lids, I picked up another set of my tried and true Scarlett #8 lashes from Huda Beauty! Although they look gigantic in the packaging, this pair feels like it was truly made for me and delivers that extra layer of glam I crave when I’m rocking a full face of makeup. It’s a very sturdy lash that you will get at least 15-20 uses out of if you take good care of them!

While they’re definitely a pricier pair, I 100% think they’re worth it. Again, they are very sturdy, so make sure you’re bending the lash elastic to make it more flexible and ensure comfortable wear. Don’t forget to cut your lashes at the outside ends to ensure the most perfect fit!

If you want a softer Huda lash, I recommend snagging Huda Beauty’s Samantha #7 lash (I know these lashes so well that I can name them just by looking at them 🤭)! It’s a more natural look, but equally as beautiful. If you’re understandably unwilling to spend $20 on a lash set, the Sephora Collection offers some beautiful vegan lashes for half the price but still boasts great reviews!
