Walgreens was pure rubbish! I added the digital coupon to my Walgreens account numerous hours prior to visiting my local Walgreens. Was I able to redeem the digital coupon at the register? Afraid not! 😭
Oh bummer! SO sorry to hear the offer didn’t apply at checkout. 😔 Were you able to speak with customer service? Wondering if they may be able to help.❤️
Same here- coupon will not come off in store but if you do an online pickup order it works! Store associate would not take care of me since she said they don’t get reimbursed for manufacture coupons! So annoying!
Oh wow! Thanks for letting us know how it worked best for you!
So at first the coupon didn’t work… But then I noticed by Walgreens had them on sale two for $4…and my manufacturer coupon was $3.99 off. So, I got two and only paid a penny!!!
Sweet! Glad you were able to snag 2 for super cheap, Julia! 🙌

Julia has the answer. Digital coupons work differently in the store than online. In the store you cannot use a digital or paper coupon that is worth more than the price of the item because Walgreen’s does not pay the overage and the store registers do not scale down. Online the digital coupons will scale down to meet the exact price of the item. This enables Walgreen’s to still sell without canceling an online order if an item is out of stock for a digital that requires the purchase of two items. A single coffee in the store is under the price of the coupon so that is why it isn’t working. It is one of the peculiarities of Walgreens but makes sense once you hear the explanation. Go for Julia’s smart solution!!!
Thanks so much for taking the time to explain how that works! Good to know! ❤️🤗
