This pet vacuum is the first one I have ever had, so I may be a little biased, but so far, I am overjoyed! I have a German Shepherd aka a “German Shedder” that seems to shed year-round. With this vacuum, I was able to clean deep into his coat to remove a TON of excess hair that would have ended up stuck in my regular vacuum or around the house, floating around or in my bed or on my clothes!
It is a sort of one-and-done operation, collecting all your waste into the collection compartment which empties with the click of a button. You can even suck up any stray hairs from nearby couches or floors with the open-ended main hose. The unit essentially lets you groom your pet without sacrificing suction power; the attachments brush through the hairs while the centers are hollowed out, sucking up virtually all excess hairs and debris. The most fun thing to do with this is to use the self-cleaning brush head to suck down the “bricks” of hair once that head is full.
The included rechargeable trimmer is a BLESSING, as past ones I have owned used to use that really specific type of charging cable that I just can’t ever find around here, at least reasonably priced. It took hardly any time at all for my Shepherd to get comfortable with this and I am so happy I was able to shape up his tail, which I only learned had a ton of excess / dead hair while using this, reducing the puffiness greatly, reducing the chance to bring in more dust / potential pests from outside.
This vacuuming grooming tool is perfect for my dogs. I groom and maintain 6 Shih Tzus and this machine is perfect. I used it on all of my dogs as soon as I unboxed it and everything works as it says it does. The suction is nice and has 3 speeds which are good too. It’s not really quiet but not too loud either. I have skittish dogs of clippers and they didn’t seem to mind this system. I plan on using this quite often on all of my dogs! 10 stars!
