This is great for all ages. My 23-year-old daughter did it on our front door. We talked about where we had been and where we would like to go. My preschool class is using it with the background as a puzzle. They like that they can do it on their own. We talked about where we live and where they have been on vacation. The magnets are strong and withstand many hands.

My kids were excited as soon as they saw just the box. The packaging was sturdy, colorful, and had a cool carrying handle. I have 4YO and 11YO daughters and they both really enjoyed this toy. The pieces are thick and sturdy. The magnets are strong. The paper map that was provided made it just challenging enough for the younger one to handle and the older one enjoyed trying to construct the US without the help of the paper. As a parent I enjoyed the insert that provided a special fact about each state, reading it as the kids placed the magnets in the correct spots. I also love that the capital of each state is listed on each piece. Even I learned a little from that!
