I’m sure this is a good deal for Lego brand, but if you’re looking to save some money – dollar tree has a generic baseplate that works just as well. Actually we prefer the dollar tree ones as they are a bit thicker and don’t bend as easily. Our real lego brand one got stepped on and has a big bend through the middle now. Our dollar tree ones have been stepped on and have held up great. Also, we picked up a train table at a rummage sale for $10 last summer and the tops flips. We glued regular dollar tree base plates on one side and glued the road baseplates from dollar tree on the other. The kids LOVE it! And it cost less than $40 including all the baseplates for both sides.
