My almost 7-year-old grandson got this for Christmas and he had it almost put together in a day. He only needed help in getting some of the tight pieces to fit where they were supposed to go as it took a lot of pressure to get them in. He figured out the gearing system and got it up and running without any help, just by following the instructions that came with it. He really is a whiz with LEGOs and he loves them.
This was a birthday gift for my 10-year-old son. I was worried it would be too much for him, but I was wrong. He loves to build, but he especially loves to play! This is durable and easy to build. He has really enjoyed this model.
