Thank you, i was waiting for a bogo deal on glasses and only had to wait a day and you posted! Ordered!

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

      Woohoo! That’s perfect timing, ree!

  2. Ariavenew

Has anyone used this company before? How long to get your order? Thanks!!

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Hi there! I do see 7-10 working days listed on the site for shipping. Hoping that helps!

    • MomInMN

Mine took about a week, the return and refund however took MONTHS. Highly do not recommend this site. (The return was because the prescription was off on both my glasses and my daughter’s glasses….)

  3. Erin

I got two pairs of prescription glasses for$12 ๐Ÿ˜

  4. Karbear52

How do you actually use this company, do you go to a local eye doctor to get your eyes examined and then take the prescriptions and mail it to these guys?? I always see the sales, and I need to get new glasses, I just wasnโ€™t sure how this workedโ€ฆ??

    • Erin

Yes, you need your prescription info. You enter that on the website when you pick out your glasses. I ordered from this company a couple of weeks ago. Paid $12 for 2 pairs of prescription glasses. Fast shipping too!

      • Karbear52

Thank you, so much for the infoโ€ฆ!! I think Iโ€™ll give them a tryโ€ฆ!!๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜Š

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Yes! You can get your prescription from an Eye doctor and then order your glasses from Lenskart.

      • Karbear52

        Thank you so much, I think Iโ€™ll give them a tryโ€ฆ!! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜Š

Any idea (or know where to find the info) on up-charges for special lens coatings/thinning of lenses?

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

While I couldn’t find all the information in one place, I did notice as I went through the process of picking glasses that it shows me the upcharges as I add them to my order. For example, when I click “select lenses” I can also choose Bifocal/Progressive. Since I wear Progressives, I have several options. Regular progressives show an upcharge of $50 or I can choose Progressives w/ Transition lenses for $85. Hope this helps!

      • O

Hi Jennifer. Have you tried ordering progressives with them? Today I have received my order (that I placed on February 14th after your previous post), all the way from India. ๐Ÿ™‚ The reviews about the company I found were rather good. But honestly I didn’t expect a super high quality as my total was $106 for 1 pair of progressives with transition lenses AND 1 pair of prescription polarized sunglasses (and locally 1 pair of glasses that I want would be from $300 to more than $500) but I couldn’t resist trying this deal for the same reason. The sunglasses I have received are OK. I actually like both frames very much. But the progressives are really weird. Now I have to figure out what to do with them. Because these are my first multifocal glasses, and maybe they just don’t work for me. So I don’t know if I should try to return or replace them.

        • O

(The sunglasses that I ordered are single vision.)

        • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

I have worn Progressives for years, O! If these are your first pair of progressives, they take about 2 weeks for your eyes to adjust. It will look warped and weird for some time and you’ll have to move your head around to see correctly. After about 2 weeks your eyes just magically adjust and you’ll love them. Some people take a bit longer (I did – 3 weeks for me), but if you are patient, it can work. Now that I’ve been wearing them for so long, I can wear single vision glasses or even bifocals. Is that what you are asking?

          • O

I was actually asking if you had any experience with this company. But your information is even more helpful. Thank you very much! I actually needed to know that. ๐Ÿ™‚

            • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

You are welcome! Just so you know, I’ve ordered glasses for my son from this company. He uses bifocals and we like the glasses. I just have a complicated prescription so I like to order right from my eye doctor.

  6. Tina

How do you know that the frame will fit you?

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

You can get a frame size guide by clicking here, Tina!

  7. Melissa J

Has anyone successfully used the โ€œtry onโ€ feature that they say they have in the FAQs? I couldnโ€™t find anywhere to do this, and I checked a variety of frames. The other glasses sites I’ve used have an option to upload a pic (and in some cases a video) to see how the frames would look on your face. I checked the Lenskart FAQโ€™s and it says you can do this on the product page. However there is no Try On button on any product page that I can find. Hoping someone has figured this out and can clue me in! TIA!

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Hi there! I just spoke with customer service and they let me know that the try on feature is currently inactive.

I did also find these details – “We have a Free 14 Day return/exchange policy. You may either call us at our Toll free# 833-763-2119 (9AM-6PM EST) or you may drop us an email at “support@lenskart.us” stating your reason for return/exchange along with your order number. We shall try our best to provide you with a satisfying resolution.”

      Hope this is helpful! ๐Ÿค—

      • Melissa J

Thank you so much!! Yes, that really helps. Youโ€™re the best โค๏ธ

        • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Yay! ๐ŸŽ‰I’m so glad. You’re most welcome! Thanks so much for the sweet comment. ๐Ÿฅฐ๐Ÿค—

  8. Margaret

This is awesome. I was just looking to get some new glasses since mine are so scratched up. Most sites that offer these “great deals” are for single vision. I got one pair with the blue light progressives, and one pair with the transition progressives and spent only $111. That’s amazing! Thanks so much!

    • Alli (Hip Sidekick)

      You’re so welcome Margaret!

  9. Bunny

Perfect timing. Have an eye doctor appointment on Monday so will be ordering right after that. Thanks so much Hip2Save for your timely post!

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Oh perfect! You’re welcome, Bunny! Glad this sale popped up for you! ๐Ÿ’ž

  10. 4eyed gal

    Hi-
    I have 2 ?’s.
1- how do I add sunglasses?
2- how can I add polarized lenses?
    Thanks for any help!

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

You can find sunglasses in the menu at the top of the site. If you need prescription sunglasses, find your frame and as you go through the process of adding the type of lenses you want, you can choose options like transitions, anti-scratch, anti-glare and so on. You can find polarized sunglasses by typing “polarized” into the search box. I found over 8 pages of them when I used the search function.
