I have this dutch oven and love it. Clean up is a breeze.
Oh awesome! Thanks for the feedback! Happy to hear that clean up is so easy! 💞
I love these Lodge pots but the enamel does chip if you’re not careful-I have several of their pots. For me it’s always around the handle and rim. They DO have a lifetime warranty on the enamel however, and will replace the pot, free of any shipping or replacement charge.
Thanks a bunch for the warning and for sharing your experience with these pots! ❤️🙌
Oh…i have one which is badly chipped. How do i go about it? Please let us know.
You can call customer service for Lodge or just email them. They’ll ask you for pictures, specifically with their logo on the bottom of the pan and the damage. They request certain information like how do you store them, how are they heated, etc. After uploading the information you should get a return contact email giving you shipping information. They’ve always told me to dispose of the pan and have never requested one back. The pan itself is USA made but the outer glaze is made in China as far as I know. It’s not a $200 Le Creuset so you’re going to have issues with glaze/chipping.
Thanks so much for taking the time to share your experience and tips, illusara! ❤️
Thanks for sharing the tip about their replacement policy. I LOVE my enameled Dutch oven but it’s been through a lot— hours of simmering acidic foods like tomato sauce and chili, sitting on the smoker, roasts in the oven, plus stovetop use. I emailed them yesterday after seeing your comment and by 9:15 today they emailed back asking which color I wanted (since mine is no longer being made) and what my shipping address is.
Oh great! So happy my comment helped. Most people don’t know they have a lifetime warranty on the glaze. Enjoy your new pot!
