Beat the stink with Lume Deodorant and their discounted Lume Starter Pack!
Why is social media so obsessed with Lume?
Outrageously effective, aluminum-free, and designed to stop stink all-over (not just your underarms) are just a few reasons women everywhere can’t stop talking about Lume.
And after putting TWO of our Hip team members on the job, we can see why…
Designed by an OBGYN, Lume is clinically proven to block body odor for up to 72 hours. The secret? Mandelic acid (which isn’t one of your run-of-the-mill ingredients) for a better, different deodorant experience. Plus, what it doesn’t contain is just as important, Lume is free of baking soda, aluminum, parabens, phthalates, and SLS.
Most importantly, Lume acts as a PRE-deodorant and stops stink before it well, stinks – can your other deodorant do that?
Before bacteria can even digest the fluid on our skin, sweat, blood, etc. Lume prevents B.O. from happening anywhere on your body. Yes, anywhere– go ahead and rub it behind those knees, on your feet, and yes, even down there. 🌸
That means if you’re a runner, hiker, gymnast, busy mom of 3, or just plain sweat easily (hey, it’s good for ya), Lume gives you the confidence to keep on doing what you love.
And since the Lume starter pack bundle offer is SO SCENT-sational, it’s never been easier to give it a try! You’ll get…

Here’s what Hip Sidekick, Lina, loved most about Lume Deodorant…
What a great way to try Lume products! The Lume deo is nice and last a long time. It’s easy to roll on takes care of odor. I don’t recommend the coconut scent. It doesn’t smell like coconut at all. The lavender body wash smells great and I would next time get that scent. I LOVED the cucumber body wipes so much. They are refreshing and great for travel or the gym. The full body deo cream is nice to have on hand. I opted for the orange scent which does smell nice. I am looking forward to using it more during the sweaty months of summer.
And, Sara, gave the Lume Start Pack her stamp of approval as well…
I was excited to try the Lume deodorant since so many people recommended it as a great natural deodorant. I’ve been using it for a couple of weeks now and think it’s really nice! It feels smooth on your skin, is truly unscented, and does what it’s supposed to. I also really like the bar soap. It’s a little thicker when you wash with it so I think it’s great for shaving legs in the shower.
Need a little more convincing? Take it from 150,000 5-star reviews & counting…
Smells and feels great. Definitely prevents odor all over your body.
This Lume body cream makes my feet feel like I had a pedicure every day! 👍👍
I use this cream every day and I love it. I have very dry skin and it has helped me so much to keep the itching down and my skin moist. I love all the Lume products I’ve purchased and I have recommended it to everyone in my family and my friends. As the Good Doctor says in her ads, Why didn’t somebody think of this sooner?
I absolutely love it, it feels great and smells better.
I absolutely love LUME! It does actually control odor like it says. I would recommend getting the starter pack to try.
Oh awesome! Thanks so much for the recommendation, Lojo! Glad to hear you’ve found it to control odor! 💞
I gave it a try all I got was burning armpits and red rash ( I went on Lume site and tried the tips for burning armpits and tried the tips but still had the burning armpits).I do workout and sweat bad and this did not help my smelly body odor. I also tried the bio film laundry wash did not work for my bras (they always smell like bo so I have to soak after workouts) my vinegar soak does better. I was so bummed I need help with my smelly bo. What do others use for deodorant and washing workout gear?
@mandybusby I too had a horrific rash and miserable reaction when I tried a new scent last week. I’ve used Lume for the past year with no problems, and decided to try the tangerine one and it did not agree with me at all. I am looking forward to hearing any suggestions you get here, because the hormone changes are no joke with body odor.

Have you tried carpe deodorant?
My son plays a ton of sports and I wash his clothing with vinegar ( i put that in the softener are of my washing machine), a scoop of baking soda and my regular detergent.
Oh bummer! SO sorry to hear about the burning. 😔 Thanks so much for the honest feedback on your experience. ❤️ Were you able to reach out to customer service?
Have you tried washing with 20 Mule Team Borax? It’s great at scent removal with warm water (heat activates it) in the pre-soak cycle of your washer. I have used it with super-smelly dog laundry (including towels after being skunked) — if it could break that scent, it can get anything!
I love Lume too, especially since they changed the initial scent. I thought it had sort of a metal smell before, but they changed that, and now I smell nothing but the scent. I didn’t use mine when I first bought it, but after having back and knee injuries and not being able to shower daily, I love it, lol. It works a lot better on me than the clinical deodorant does. It fights the bacteria that causes the odor.
Yay! Thanks for the awesome review, Rose! Great that it has been working so well for you! ❤️🙌
I gave the starter kit a try and Iove it so far!
Woohoo! Thanks for sharing with us, Lindsey! 🎉 Happy the starter kit has been a hit so far!
I bought a little tube of the tangerine scented Lume at Target. It smelled like bo and tangerine combined right in the tube before even applying it. I gave it a chance, but I could not tolerate the scent. Which scents are the best?
Same! Smells like dog anal glands to me.
I like Lume fine but I still end up smelling sometimes. I have to use it daily. I use the unscented and don’t have any issues with the scent (my daughter said it smelled funny & won’t use it). I also bought it for my very, very stinky son and it doesn’t really help. Nothing seems to help so I have him layer it on with his Clinical DO. He doesn’t smell quite as bad…as quickly… Maybe. I probably won’t buy it again but I won’t say never.
Thanks for the honest feedback on how it worked for several members of your family, beth-3! So sorry it doesn’t seem to work for your kiddos, but glad the unscented works OK for you. ❤️
I used the unscented paste and had mixed results. Sometimes it seemed to control the odor, but then I had to get used to underarm wetness as a part of my day. I could tolerate that, but then the BO came back, even when applying the cream nightly after my shower. The scents are strangely bad as you apply, but then seem to disappear. The powder roll on doesn’t seem to control odor nearly as well as the paste, but I did use it as a back up during the day when the paste started to fail me. After some time, I sadly just went back to my original super strength Mitchum, and most of my issues are resolved. Really wished this worked for me. It’s been the best of all the natural brands I’ve tried.
Darn! So sorry to hear that the Lume products you tried out didn’t seem to do the trick for you, molly. I haven’t personally tested out this brand, but when switching to a natural/low-toxic brand, I did have several months of what I would consider “detox” where I had to get used to more underarm wetness (as you mentioned) and re-applying several times for the scent. Eventually, my body seemed to adjust to using it. Thanks so much for sharing about your experience! ❤️
Lume is great at the odor control and a little goes a long way. I like the unscented and lavender tubes. I wish it did something to control my sweat though. Ugh. I feel like I could wring out my shirt in the summer 😅😂
I loved lume when I first started using it. The smell was awful, but went away after putting it on. It controlled my odor incredibly well. I actually recommended it to my family. I don’t know if it’s my postpartum hormones or what, but ever since I had my baby, it does not work at all. My daughter is now 9 months old and it hasn’t worked a bit since having her. My almost 16 yr old daughter started using it and has always been great about keeping herself clean and smelling good(she plays softball), now actually has BO after she started using it. So I’m going to have her stop using it to see if it helps. I may start using it again once I stop breastfeeding my daughter and see if it works for me again.
I experienced a rebound odor when I stopped using Lume. I also found it to be more effective some days then others, so I wonder what role female hormones play here. I liked the lavender scent for women but the silver spruce for boys/men was awful! I have also heard and see in some comments here that tangerine scent can be irritating. When it works, it works lol. Good luck to your daughter!
It amazes me recently how expensive most quality deodorants and/or antiperspirants are now.! Regardless does anybody have any recommendations for effective similar quality to Lume, or not, deodorants/antiperspirants for athletic men??!! Thank you.
I tried LUME a couple yrs ago because of the hilarious Facebook ads…
I’ve been hooked since then…
It works for me everywhere (even my booty) 😀
YAY! Glad to hear you’ve enjoyed their products throughout the years and they work well all over! 🙌💕
