These meal boxes from Marley Spoon are GOOD. Super high-quality and really fun recipes. I like being able to filter the meals based on protein type, cook times, and quite a few other characterizations. Ordering is pretty easy, and even though I got a little confused by their shipment tracker, everything arrived as expected – super cold and fresh!
The prep and cook times on the recipe cards are spot on (I legitimately timed one), and the meals are easy to prepare. I always lean towards the quick and easy meals, but will occasionally add in something that sounds too drool-worthy to pass up, and the extra work is always worth it.
Plus, I get so many inspo ideas for sauces, cooking variations, and flavor pairings from the recipes to use even when I’m not ordering a weekly box!
I have not tried a meal service in a very long time. I became disenchanted with the small portions and lack of quality ingredients along with missing items in boxes and high prices. I ordered this last time it was posted and received my first box for $38. This is the best meal service box I have ever ordered! Fresh ingredients. Great packaging. Easy to understand instructions. I was also able to give away two FREE boxes to friends. This is a perk after you order a box, you may give a box. I honestly think this subscription will be worth the regular pricing.
