Educators make such a positive impact in the lives of so many! Through October 15th, McDonald’s restaurants are showing their appreciation by offering a FREE Thank You Meal!
Scoring these free meals is super easy too! Educators – including teachers, administrators, and all school staff members – simply head on over to their local McDonald’s, show a valid work ID, and enjoy a free breakfast on the house!
All Thank You Meals will be served up in a classic Happy Meal box & include a breakfast sandwich, hash browns, and either a coffee (hot or iced) or a medium soft drink. For the breakfast sandwich, you’ll be able to choose from an Egg McMuffin, Sausage Biscuit, or Bacon, Egg, & Cheese Biscuit.
If you know an educator who has made a real difference in your life or the lives of others, McDonald’s is also encouraging folks to share their stories on Twitter, TikTok, and Instagram using the hashtag #ThankYouMeal when you do. McDonald’s may select one of the tagged educators to receive a free breakfast delivered to their school!
You can also download the free Thank You e-card and send it directly to the special educator of your choice – easy peasy!

Sign up for the MyMcDonald’s Rewards Program (free to join) and you’ll earn reward points on every purchase which can be redeemed for awesome freebies, like this one!

We’ve had the Rewards program at our McDonald’s since February, and I’ve found it so easy to use! Just scan your barcode or order via the app and your points are automatically added! There are sometimes Bonus Points offers available, too, to help you earn even faster.
Even without Bonus Points, I’ve found that earning rewards happen SO quickly. We’ve earned lots of freebies even though we don’t visit that often. The redemption rewards are broken down into tiers. For example, I can choose from a vanilla cone, McChicken, and more for 1,500 points all the way up to a free Happy Meal or Big Mac for 6,000 points.
And you can redeem your rewards either through a mobile order or by scanning your code at the drive-thru – easy peasy!

Only problem is some of the workers don’t have a clue about this deal. Hopefully McDonald’s will figure it out. Nice to see something offered for all school staff. Next, we need to do mom’s eat free….college students…bring your dog thru the drive thru…lol.
So bummed. I’m in a large market (Las Vegas) and they aren’t doing it at the three locations I checked. 😢
