Hey there! It looks like the bucket will be the prize, though there’s not any additional details released on this yet. During last years’ release, this was the case, so it’s likely to be the same this year. 🤗

Ours didn’t have them! My kids were so disappointed. They got Mario Bros toys today!
Oh no! That’s disappointing. Our stores had signs out about it so I asked and they told me that they were using them.
I was disappointed we couldn’t stack them to store them unless you remove the handles

The handles are easy to remove. Just push down on each side, it’s only held on by a slot-and-button thing.
Is it known what weeks get which colors?
Hey Tina! That may vary by location. I’ve seen many saying they were able to grab them yesterday and it seemed the various colors were given out. You could always check with your location to be sure on how they may be giving them out. ❤️🤗
Three (3) McDonald’s close to where I live. Two (2) of them are starting with the orange (pumpkin) and one is giving out the purple (vampire). Best to call and see which one your location has available. Was told that they open one box at a time with all the same buckets before going on to a different color.

This was so fun to take my teenage son to get this hapoy mela today. Couple things to note if you’re purchasing these to relive the 1987 vibe..
1. The new buckets are smaller… like 2/3 the size of the buckets from the 80s
2. The new buckets do not have the plastic lids… like the black plastic which. Hat for the which or the orange pumpkin stem for the jack o lantern… instead the handle has like a little built in hat shape and they come with a paper lid and stickers.
All in all, still a fun time. We NEVER eat McDonald’s, but I took my 15 year old son to get one and regaled him of my stories from the 1900s and my mom bringing me the boo bucket to school one day for lunch.

Thanks for the heads up. This was a fun one. I got the purple today. They’re cute but as someone else said they’re much smaller. Also the handle design is bad. At least for the purple bucket. It gets in the way. I had a hard time getting my food out of it without dumping stuff. I had to maneuver around the handle. All in all, it’s fun for the nostalgia. Kids will enjoy the cuteness, but it’s not really usable as a trick or treating pail if that’s the goal for getting one. 🙂

Always check your mobile app deal offers! BOGO Happy Meals were an option, and I could see that the buckets were the toy selection available during my mobile order

When did they get rid of the lids? A lady at my church got them for her kids, and the handle just has a “fake” lid on it, which I didnt notice in the picture here. Kind of misleading that all their other merch continues showing a lid.
Hi Jennifer! 🤗 When these made a comeback at McDonald’s last year, they no longer had lids on them, only the handles like you mentioned and shown above with Melinda. Bummer! ❤️ Hoping they hear customer feedback about wanting the return of the lids, if they release them again next year! 🤞
