The trio of Halloween pails – known as McBoo, McPunk’n, and McGoblin – are available with your Happy Meal purchase at participating restaurants nationwide through today or while supplies last! And each bucket comes with spooky stickers – so fun!
Most Happy Meals start in price around $4.49 depending on where you live so not a bad deal when the bucket and stickers are included!
McDonald’s has been helping families celebrate Halloween since way back in 1965 when the restaurant gave away trick-or-treat bags for children to decorate with the purchase of every Happy Meal.
When McDonald’s replaced the trick-or-treat bags with buckets in the 1980s, people loved them so much that they found ways to reuse them year-round. Below, you can see some of the creative ways that McDonald’s fans are still finding to repurpose their beloved Halloween pails.
While McDonald’s doesn’t give away Halloween buckets every year, they have offered them many times since they were first introduced. These releases included several different versions and redesigns, which eventually evolved into the modern-day pumpkin, ghost, and goblin we see this season! 👻
