The 1.5mm clear POM tip offers scratch-free, precision writing for fine to thicker lines. With less than a 25-millisecond delay, you’ll feel like you are writing with an actual ink pen on paper.
It comes with a USB-C cable for charging but can also be charged wirelessly by snapping to the side of your iPad (for iPads that offer wireless charging). The MOMAX iPad pencil will charge within 30 minutes and when fully charged and it can work for up to 8 hours straight before needing to be charged again! There is also an on/off button to help keep it charged longer between uses.

The pencil has a nice weight and feel to it similar to the Apple Pencil which I own but its look is certainly unique. It has an on-off touch button and you can see its battery status without even connecting to the iPad. This should help with conserving the battery and knowing when to charge. The pencil was received in a charged state and connecting to the iPad with Bluetooth was very straightforward and the pencil worked right away as expected and not unlike the Apple Pencil. I could not test the magnetic charging but should be able to test it subsequently with a newer iPad. All in all, I think this is a strong offering as an iPad pencil and satisfies the needs of an average user at a significantly reduced price point compared with the Apple Pencil. Hence, in my books, it’s a keeper.
This pen easily sets up, just connect the Bluetooth and it’s ready to go. The swipe to turn on/off is a little getting used to and so is the back swipe to show recent apps. But once you get the feel the controller is great. This pen has a better response than my original Apple pen. It also fits in the holder I used with that one, it’s a bit shorter than an Apple pen. I like the battery level/on-off indicator as well. Great alternative to the Apple product.
